Each candle is poured using 100% natural soy wax, blended with natural essence oils, finished with a wooden wick for a soft, comforting glow. Free from parabens and unnecessary additives, these candles are as considered as they are beautiful. Every vessel is handmade, making each piece unique.

Each candle is unique due to its handmade nature.

The first burn is the most important.

Light your candle and allow it to burn long enough for the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn going forward.

As a guide, this usually takes 1–2 hours, depending on the room and candle size.

For best results, burn your candle for 1–3 hours at a time.

Avoid very short burns, as these can cause tunnelling and make the candle harder to relight later.

Yes — especially with wooden wicks.

Before each burn:

• Ensure you have about 1/4 inch of wick to light
• Remove any blackened or charred wood from the top
  

This helps the flame stay steady and burn cleanly.

Wooden wicks behave a little differently to cotton wicks and sometimes need a little extra care, especially with natural soy wax.

Common reasons include:

• The wick being too long or having char on top
• The candle not being burned long enough on the first light
• The wick becoming “drowned” in wax
• Drafts or cooler room temperatures

Most of the time, a quick wick trim and a longer light will solve the issue.

Tunnelling happens when wax melts only in the centre, leaving wax around the edges.

If this happens:

• Light the candle and allow it to burn until the wax melts evenly to the edges
• Wrap a small piece of tin foil around the top of the vessel, leaving space for the flame
• If there is excess melted wax in the centre, carefully remove a small amount with tissue

Once the wax evens out, the candle should burn normally.
